Hello Buddy,

Great info! I recently came across your blog and have been reading along.
I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have

Going from round to corner is much easier than corner to round, because you don't have to consider the effects (i.e. errors) caused by a very large radius. For a closed shape, which a plane should be, the resulting number of vertices will equal the number of straight line segments, which is easy to determine from a Geometry XYR Points Array.
All you need to do is compute the 'point of intersection' for each sequential pair of line segments. The internet has plenty of websites with formulas for doing that. Given that the plane shape is controlled by Mentor, you should not have to deal with the special case involving intersection of sequential parallel segments.

Anyways great write up, your efforts are much appreciated.

Thanks,
Krishna

Hello There,

Allow me to show my gratitude ASHA24 bloggers. You guys are like unicorns. Never seen but always spreading magic. Your content is yummy. So satisfied. Automation anywhere tutorial

We are testing if we can run UiPath bot on unattended VDI with Orchestrator.
In the attached workflow, we try to open the Notepad application, type into some text, and then click Help > About Notepad (No image activity involved)
Workflow file
Below are the results when we run the bot which is installed on a VDI via Orchestrator:
1. If we connected to VDI (i.e., VDI window open) —> Everything works as expected
2. If we disconnected to VDI (i.e., VDI window closed) —> Notepad application is open but then exception. The screenshot taken in the catch block shows the “screen saver” desktop. Then we have tried to use the “Launch Workflow Interactive” activity to call the workflow but still the same exception and the same screenshot.
Just wonder does UiPath bot supposed to be run on unattended VDI? Any thoughts what we could try/check? Thanks in advance.
Our setup
2018.1.2 CE
Orchestrator CE
Windows 10 Citrix VDI environment
Anyways great write up, your efforts are much appreciated.

Best Regards,

Radhey

Hi Dark,

Gasping at your brilliance! Thanks a tonne for sharing all that content. Can’t stop reading. Honestly!

From time to time, they give away free Automation anywhere training USA.
Jing does have problems, many apps can not work on their files - I have stopped using it. Flash is being discontinued - World wide, so you will be seeing clients asking for MP4, more and more.
Screen-Cast-O-Matic is really the best choice for video capture, I prefer using an older version though.
Anyways great write up, your efforts are much appreciated.

Kind Regards,
Kevin

Hi,

Hip Hip Hooray! I was always told that slightly slow in the head, a slow learner. Not anymore! It’s like you have my back. I can’t tell you how much I’ve learnt here and how easily! Thank you for blessing me with this effortlessly ingestible digestible content.

AsEnumerable will not be listed, so you just need to type it out. (it’s not case-sensitive also)
It basically converts your table into an ienumerable List of DataRows, so it unlocks all the Array and Lambda functions. Automation anywhere tutorial
you can use this anywhere you want to use a datatable, like you can use it in an Assign activity to store the result to another variable, or you can bypass the Assignment and use it directly in a For each, to loop through each row.
I will also mention that sometimes your .Where function will not find any rows, which then you will receive a “datatable has no rows” error using .CopyToDataTable. In this case, you might consider using .ToArray instead of .CopyToDataTable and you can check its row count with .ToArray.Count (which you can use as a condition before storing to the datatable or processing that data. EDIT: You can also use an Assign activity to store the .ToArray or array variable back to a .CopyToDataTable after you have checked its .Count… if you prefer.
I don’t think you need further details on where to use it now that I mentioned in an Assign or For each, but let me know if you still need more help getting it to work in your workflow and maybe post a screenshot of your issues with it.
I am so grateful for your blog. Really looking forward to read more.

Kind Regards,
Irene Hynes
